The Ross University School of Medicine (RUSM) Anesthesiology Interest Group will provide educational resources to RUSM students interested in pursuing a career in anesthesiology. The mission of AIG is to not only introduce students to the field of anesthesia, but to provide students considering a career in anesthesiology with opportunities to further improve and enrich their skills that are currently related to the field of anesthesiology.

The RUSM LGBTQ+ Doctors Association is a community for the next generation of LGBTQ+ physicians that seeks to organize, defend, and serve the RUSM community as a whole. It is an all inclusive and judgment-free organization that accepts everyone for who they are regardless of sexuality, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, etc. Our goal is to provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. We strive to hold events that are LGBTQ+ relevant in order to inform and educate the RUSM student body on the changing and progressive LGBTQ+ community. The RUSM SCUBA Clube aims to educate students on scuba diving and all the health benefits and concerns of scuba diving. We are working with a local family-owned business (Rogers Scuba Shack) on the island to help our members get certified, have fun, and connect with the local community. We also are working with the international diving organization called PADI to help Barbados Preserve and maintain a clean and health beach and oceanfront.

We will provide numerous opportunities throughout the semester for students to not only get certified in scuba diving but also participate in swim lessons for the locals and beach clean-ups. We also will provide opportunities to talk to doctors that are certified in the hyperbaric chamber use.

Sikh Student Association's mission is to inform both Sikhs and non-Sikhs about Sikh ideologies all while promoting main tenets of Sikhism, including community service, equality, interfaith and intercultural dialogue. Such tenants will be attained by creating service-learning opportunities on and off campus sites, as well as through virtual guest speakers and informative panels. Sikh Student Association also works to create a safe space for medical students who identify as Sikh and/or want to learn about the Sikh faith. Within that safe environment, this organization encourages and supports resources such as mental and physical health awareness along with support.

The body serving to represent students on the Barbados campus of Ross University School of Medicine (henceforth referred to as RUSM) shall be the Student Government Association (henceforth referred to as the SGA).

Students elected to the SGA are provided with personal and professional development opportunities by serving as a student leader on our campus. Elected officers learn to lead, work together, plan and implement events, advocate for their cohorts, and navigate professional organizations. Each semester all representatives participate in two retreats, weekly meetings with lunch, and an end-of-semester dinner. Representatives also represent our campus and student body at Deans meetings, admissions events, alumni visits, and other meetings with Adtalem leadership.
