About Us
Inspired by the vibrant culture of intramural sports and recognizing the absence of similar academic competitions, the Ross University School of Medicine Quiz Club aims to provide students with a platform to showcase their academic prowess. We strive to foster a dynamic environment where students can deepen their understanding of medicine, collaborate with peers, and sharpen their problem-solving skills. Our mission is to cultivate a culture of academic curiosity, professional growth, and camaraderie among RUSM students through engaging quiz competitions, interactive sessions, and collaborative learning opportunities. By enriching the educational journey of our members, we aim to prepare them to excel in their medical careers with confidence and competence.
Summa Medica Society translates from Latin as "Great Medical Society," and we are also known as the Quiz Club. Our motto, "Studere Ad Salutem", translates to "to study for salvation." This serves as a reminder during challenging times of why we embarked on this journey in the first place.
