Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most significant celebrations in Islam. It commemorates the unwavering faith and devotion of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who was willing to sacrifice his son in obedience to God's command. In recognition of his devotion, Allah provided a ram to be sacrificed instead.

Observed on the 10th day of Dhul Hijjah—the final month of the Islamic calendar—Eid al-Adha marks the culmination of the annual Hajj pilgrimage. It is a day of gratitude, reflection, and community, celebrated with special prayers, acts of charity, and the symbolic sacrifice of animals, which is shared with family, friends, and those in need.

On this blessed occasion, Muslims come together to honor faith, humility, and compassion. It is a time to strengthen bonds, give generously, and celebrate the blessings bestowed upon us.

Eid Mubarak! May your Eid be filled with peace, joy, and spiritual renewal.
